Operations Manager – Chilled Food Manufacturing

£60-70k plus Benefits

Our client is a chilled food manufacturer who supplies product into the a top 4 grocery retailer and wholesale accounts.

Over the last five years they have shown strong sales and profit growth.

They are a progressive and operationally efficient manufacturing business who are looking for a strong man manager to further improve their operational excellence.

You will report directly into the Site Director, your direct management responsibility will be for 200 staff through a team of six Shift Managers.

You will be measured on various KPI's including overall operational efficiencies within the retail packing production site.

You will motivate, direct and drive a multi cultural workforce. Key areas of focus are improving OE, driving down wastage and improving quality whilst maintaining H&S.

You will have at least 5 years food management experience within chilled food production.

You will have the ability to manage and drive performance through your excellent man management skills.

You will have experience of P&L and have a passion to exceed expectations of the business and drive your passion down through your team.
