Hygiene Manager – Chilled Food Manufacturing

£30-35k plus Benefits

We are recruiting for a chilled food manufacturer who supplies the UK Multiple Retailers with Own Label food products, they currently have a turnover in excess of £50 million.

Due to expansion and an apetite for Continuous Improvement they are currently looking for a driven Hygiene Manager.

Are you an outstanding Hygiene Manager??

This a unique Food Hygiene Manager’s role where you will have the opportunity to make a very quick impact.

Your performance will be measured by KPI’s and you must be able to demonstrate an eye for Continuous Improvement and have the ability to take total control for the hygiene budget and all cleaning schedules.

Within this role you will be responsible for ensuring that a comprehensive cleaning plan is in place, reviewed and developed within the factory throughout the 24hr operation.

You will also take total ownership of key site service contracts, including, Chemical supply, Consumables, PPE & Waste.

The ability to drive, motivate and manage a large team is essential. Man management skills are key as you will have to manage and develop a large team of Hygiene Supervisors and Operatives.

As the ideal candidate you will possess excellent communication skills as you will be expected to liaise between a number of individuals when implementing new systems and procedures.

You should be a Food Hygiene Manager now and be able to take on big decisions, experience of working within the chilled food industry.
