Our client is the world\\‘s leading nutrition, health and wellness company. Their products include food and beverages, cereals, confectionery, petfoods and waters. As of today, they employ over 270,000 people across more than 500 state-of-the-art facilities around the world.
Due to increased growth within their confectionery sales they are looking to strengthen their Engineering function at Product Technology Centre at their production facility in Yorkshire.
The role

Provide engineering innovation and support to PTC projects to ensure success.

Supporting major/minor project development, design and execution on a worldwide basis

Main tasks/responsibilities

Supporting project management and project-related activities

• Manage projects successfully from concept to completion taking into account needs of all stake holders
• Ensure project scope is defined and communicated to all stake holders
• Review concepts for industrialisation projects: basic process and equipment design and procurement (e.g., costs, feasibility and safety)
• Provide operational support regarding equipment to PTC/R&D centers and Markets/factories
• Manage relationship with external service providers, including time scheduling and controlling of resource planning
• Review maintenance, service, safety and hygiene of technology and inform factories/Markets
• Write and update technical manuals, instructions and guidelines for equipment to factories/Markets
• Incorporate NCE/TPM into projects
• Development and design of new idea

Background, skills and knowledge of candidate

• Knowledge of confectionery processes
• Hands on machine development knowledge and methodology

• BSc/HND in engineering or technology
